Welcome to the strange world of the Frenzied Bricks!

The 'Briks are Bak!

Originally inspired from a meeting of like-minded close friends in the early 80's with an appreciation of the absurd, having their better recording attempts played on the local independent radio station at the time - more recently The Frenzied Bricks have discovered how incredibly easy it is to make a tune (note: deftly avoiding the term 'music') in the 2000's without the need for expensive physical hardware and recording studio time.

2006: Sense of humour? Ja!!

Adolf Hitler: Did you know that last year more people died from cigarette smoking than from bombings?

Brendan Byers III: What will you do about that, Führer?

Adolf Hitler: Increase the bombings!

An 80's discovery of a long-forgotten 1970 Jerry Lewis movie "Which Way To The Front?" was the source of much mirth due to some gems in the screenplay that hit a note in our group.

A project that was originally slated for the 90's has now come to fruition - an interest in sampling starting way back from an appreciation of such classics as 'My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts' by Eno/Byrne, and being captivated by 'art house' music such as 'Consequences' by Godley and Creme have led inevitably to such a recording.

Inevitably.

We recommend keeping all medication close at hand prior to listening!

MP3 Which Way To The Front? (Intro)

- a laid back, melancholy jangly guitar number has Jerry lamenting his 'poor little rich boy' status

MP3 Which Way To The Front? (Middle Bit)

- 80's guitars and synths crunch along as Jerry and company plan to kidnap Kesselring after being 4F'd from the US Army - Jerry can't stand 'that one little word': rejection; and has problems with a 'Learning to Speak German' record.

MP3 Which Way To The Front? (Finale)

More upbeat and daringly 90's in style - Jerry has a showdown with Hitler in the Fuhrerbunker but it turns into a discussion on wive's cooking skills, as well as advice from Kesselring on how one should walk and differing opinions on how Kesselring did walk!.
